    About      Acupuncture      Other Therapies      Contact

Harmony Acupuncture Centre was first opened in 1993. The practitioner, Fiona Begg, began her studies in Acupuncture in 1988 with the Australian Acupuncture College in Camberwell, Melbourne. After completing her four years of training Fiona went to Nanjing, China, to further her knowledge and spent a month working in a Hospital under the direction of the Vice President of the Acupuncture department. On her return to Australia she opened her clinic in Pakenham and began her life's passion as an Acupuncturist and healer.

Since her initial training Fiona has continued to further her knowledge and completed her post graduate studies in Acupuncture in 1996 directly followed by a month long trip to work in a Taiwanese hospital.

In 2001 Fiona's career took an exciting turn when she discovered Japanese style Acupuncture, and since then she has studied extensively with Paul Movsessian in Australia and Senior Japanese Teachers in Australia, Japan and Hawaii. Fiona uses Japanese style Acupuncture almost exclusively in her treatments now as she has found them to be incredibly gentle and effective.

More recently Fiona has completed her Advanced Training in Toyohari, is currently completing a research paper on possible connections between tongue characteristics and diagnosis in Toyohari and has become a teacher in the Toyohari style of Acupuncture. In 2019 Fiona received an award in Japan for her services to Toyohari.

As mentioned previously Fiona's passion is healing and sees her role in the clinic as a facilitator, working together with the client to achieve the best possible outcome for their health.

In addition to Acupuncture Fiona uses Australian Bush Flower Essences, Oriental Massage and Reiki in her work.
